Planwest staff offers the skills and expertise necessary to perform community, environmental and economic planning services.  We currently serve as contract planners for a number of communities - essentially serving as their planning departments.  We provide a broad range of services for contract planning clients including administering entitlement regulations, staffing public hearings, writing staff reports, updating general plans and zoning code, reviewing entitlement applications, and developing short and long-term economic and community development plans.

Where Planwest serves as the prime consultant for long range plans and supporting environmental documents, we construct essential elements, coordinate all work products and manage the entire planning process.  We also create special purpose plans, redevelopment plans, feasibility studies, traffic plans, economic development plans, and local coastal plans.  Planwest has a proven track record of providing high quality planning services, on-time and within budget.
