Transportation Planning

Planwest offers comprehensive transportation planning services to assist communities with evaluating all modes and planning for a balanced transportation system. In California, this includes keeping up with the current California Transportation Commission (CTC) guidelines that each Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) must comply with. We assist RTPAs with regularly scheduled updates of Regional Transportation Plans (RTP) for (CTC) Guidelines conformance. We have assisted three RTPAs with their RTP updates and supporting EIRs. We also have experience preparing bicycle and pedestrian facility plans.

Each Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) in California must keep their Regional Transportation Plan updated to conform with California Transportation Commission (CTC) Guidelines. Planwest Partners keeps up-to-date with current CTC guidelines. We have assisted three RTPAs with their RTP updates and supporting EIRs.
